****REMINDER**** Every fire has the ability to be catastrophic. The wildland fire management environment has profoundly changed. Growing numbers of communities, across the nation, are experiencing longer fire seasons; more frequent, bigger, and more severe, fires are a real threat. Be careful with all campfires and equipment.

We can see the smoke coming over our house. We are near the corner of Serrano and Canyon Rim in Anaheim Hills.
ReplyDeleteView from Downtown Anaheim.....
ReplyDeleteSky is turning red orange and ash has started to fall. A wall of smoke is clearly present in the distance. air quality here is getting severe.
We are in Yorba Linda by Travis Ranch and the ski in orange and cloudy. Where is the fire????
ReplyDeleteWe are in Corona off of Green River Road, south of the 91 Fwy. The smoke in the sky has receded over the past half hour. Hopefully that means the fire is under control.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Brea, near the 57 and Imperial. There's a long trail of smoke across the sky to the south, and ash is falling a little bit.
ReplyDeletei'm in chino hills just across the state park from this fire, any word on if it's spreading this way?
ReplyDeleteAny good websites with updates on location and evacuation?
ReplyDeleteI just heard East of Gyp cny, north of 91 in yorba linda.
ReplyDeleteMy friend who works in riverside just came home, said the 15 71 and 91 are all closed but the fire is contained. I'd believe it, the sky's cleared up here in Chino Hills
ReplyDeleteIs all of the 91 [east AND west] closed?
ReplyDeleteOr just towards Riverside?
