Preliminary Cause of Sesnon Wildland Fire Determined

Sesnon Wildland Fire
Cause: Fire investigators have identified the area where the Sesnon Fire started. The site is in a small drainage south of Palo Sola Truck Road, west of Limekiln Canyon Road, in unincorporated Los Angeles County. The investigation indicates the cause to be from an electrical distribution line that fell into the drainage onto dry brush. A joint investigation is continuing with investigators from LA County Fire, LA County Sheriff and CAL Fire. This is an open investigation and additional information or evidence obtained will be used to conclude the investigation.
All Evacuations are lifted. Residents with ID's can get back in.
Structures Loss and Damaged:
  • 15 Single Family Dwelling total loss
  • 6 Single Family Dwelling damaged
  • 47 Out Buildings
  • 41 vehicle
