Wildland fire activity remains light nationally. Two new large fires were reported: one each in California and Utah. One large fire was contained in California.

Weather: Weather conditions around the Great Basin and northern California will include cooler temperatures and gusty winds. Southern California coasts will have moisture.

Lonesome Complex (Rogue River National Forest): 21,125 acres at 95 percent contained. This complex of three fires is 20 miles northeast of Prospect.

NEW Sulphur Creek WFU (Fishlake National Forest): This Wildland Fire Use is located two miles southeast of Cove Fort. It's being managed to accomplish natural resource objectives.
