CA-MCP-800 Vegetation Fire - Five acres

New start Camp Pendleton - Range 800
CNF dispatching immediate need strike team.

The second fire was reported about 12:45 p.m. and is burning in the area of Range 800, in the eastern portion of the base at one of its highest elevations, said Camp Pendleton Fire Inspector Bill Gick.

It is surrounded by roads and so far has burned just five acres, Gick said.
