CA-ANF- MAREK Wildfire - 2,217 acres, 20%

Update: Marek Wildfire -18:00hrs - The Marek Wildland Fire is Presently 20% contained at 2,217 acres.
RED FLAG WARNINGS are in effect for portions of Northern and Southern California: http://fire.boi.noaa.gov
Update: Marek Wildfire -15:00hrs - Marek (CA-LAC-08230997) Presently 20% to 25% contained at 750 acres. Construction of containment and control lines continues accompanied by mop-up operations in some areas.
Update: Marek Wildfire -14:34hrs - Fire camp in a box has arrived, and news from LAFD Blog Pursuant of a well-established Automatic Aid Agreement and ensuing Mutual Aid Requests, the Los Angeles Fire Department has deployed eight Strike Teams of Firefighters, six helicopters, one Bulldozer crew and key LAFD Command Officers and support staff to assist the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest Firefighters in their battle against a Mutual Threat Zone brush fire
Update: Marek Wildfire -14:30hrs - Helco requesting two that Air Tankers (T-23, T-43) re-commit to the fire.
Update: Marek Wildfire -13:30hrs - Current evacuations situation and needs being reassessed, Current evacuations will stand until at least 18:00 hours. Safety meeting at 18:00 hours, Expect more concise news some time after that. Many Strike teams and single resource units being released.

Update: 13:05hrs - 1500 - 2000 acres, 20-25% containment, no current structure threats
Update: 12:10hrs - 20% containment, Most smoke being generated is from islands of fuel burning inside the contaiment lines. Trying to feed the crews some lunch now... the day started early and it's going to be a long day.
