Wildland fire activity remains light nationally. One new large fire was reported in Oregon.

Crews and Incident Management Teams are stationed in Atlanta, Georgia; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Denton, Texas to support hurricane activity.

Weather Discussion: Northerly winds and low humidity are predicted for northern California and western Oregon. Winds will decrease bringing warmer and drier conditions around the West. Wet thunderstorms are possible in Montana, Wyoming, and the Four Corner states.

Deerhorn (Hoopa Valley Tribe, Bureau of Indian Affairs): 383 acres at 90 percent contained. This fire is one mile southeast of Weitchpec.

Siskiyou/ Blue 2 Complex (Klamath National Forest): 80,725 acres at 95 percent contained. This complex consists of both the Siskiyou and Blue 2 complexes. The complex is 18 miles southwest of Happy Camp. Minimal fire activity was reported. Information: Call (707) 441-3673 or visit the web site.
Bear Wallow Complex (Klamath National Forest): 47,998 acres at 75 percent contained. This complex is 14 miles west of Etna. Minimal fire activity was reported.

NEW Lime (Vale District, Bureau of Land Management): 349 acres at 75 percent contained. This fire is five miles north of Huntington. Wind-driven fire activity was reported. Structures and power lines are threatened.
