Santa Clara County Fire - Structure Fire - Apple building

IA: 22:01 - Report of Structure Fire
Location: Initially reported as 20605 Valley Green Drive, Santa Clara - Apple computer campus, fire actually located at west wing of building VG6, which is 20705 Valley Green Drive.
Comms: County Command 2 - 155.985 PL 179.9
Log: All times approximate
22:06 - On scene, smoke showing
22:16 - Precautionary 2nd alarm due to problems sizing up fires location.
22:30 approx - Roof operations started; "standing by" to pressurize a standpipe.
Interior attack stated the interior fire has been mostly contained to a closet, and they need another interior crew with hose bundle to extend interior attack.
23:30 - 3rd alarm and taking out windows on "B" side for ventilation, PG&E on scene to turn off the power
00:30 - Fire mostly under control. Still active fire under a building's air conditioning unit on roof.

Damages: The fire burned for over three hours - Portions of the roof damaged and second floor suffered heavy fire and smoke damage in one section of the six-building structure. second floor windows knocked out for venting.
