News and Notes: Numerous lightning strikes in California

Numerous new fire starts due to lightning strikes in California - lighting complex fires - Start several new wildland fires on the Shasta-Trinity and Six Rivers National Forests as a result of lightning fires.
Multiple lightning starts on the western part of the Shasta-Trinity. So far 13 fires reported.

Several new starts on the Shasta-Trinity and Six Rivers National Forests as a result of lightning.
Staffing: CalFire HUU just announced of all hand crews, all dozers and all engines (plus reserve engines) 24 hours a day plus additional staffing in the ECC as needed to support.
Resources: SRF, SHU and HUU sending resources including copters, tankers and jumpers to
numerous downstrike fires in the Ruth and Mad River areas, including "Gaynor
Mtn" and "Van Duzen" incidents.
Air: Air attack ordering jumpers and fast ropers.
Helicopter 510 and AA06 enroute to Shasta for lightning fires with multiple fires.
CalFire H102 arriving in the area reports at least 4 additional fires. Hayfork and Big Bar in lightning plans.
