The blaze erupted just before 5 a.m. Sunday. According to reports, there are no injuries at this time.
Fire inspector Darryl Jacobs said that firefighters did encounter some explosions from flammable materials such as propane tanks upon their arrival. Nearly 200 fire personnel were on the scene to combat the flames.
CNN reports that some park attractions, such as the Cyclone, have even been damaged as well as one sound stage and several other buildings.
According to reports, the event began as a result of a film shoot on the lot.
