Irvine, CA – It’s a fitness challenge for a good cause and you can make a difference. As a way to say “thank-you” to our military troops serving overseas, the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) will host the 2nd Annual Trevor Win’E Memorial Fitness Challenge on Monday, May 26 at 9 a.m. at its Training Facility Drill Grounds - (located at 1 Fire Authority Rd. in Irvine).Fitness Challenge

“This is one way to do something meaningful for members of our military family serving under
extremely difficult conditions far from home,” said OCFA Battalion Chief Ron Blaul. “Come out and show your support to those who have made a difference in our world.”
The workout, appropriately named “Trevor,” has teams of four people working out together to
complete the entire workout of 300 pull ups, 400 push ups, 500 sit-ups, and 600 squats.
If that sounds like too much, then there are three smaller levels to challenge at.
Level 1 is 75 pull ups, 100 push ups, 125 sit-ups, and 150 squats.
Level 2 is 150 pull ups, 200 push ups, 250 sit-ups, and 300 squats.
Level 3 is 225 pull ups, 300 push ups, 375 sit-ups, and 450 squats.
“It’s therapy for me and a way to honor my son,” said Debi Win’E. “Each team’s donated entry fee of $200 will purchase one cooling vest and 100 percent of all entry fees are used to purchase and ship vests, in Trevor’s name, to units deployed or about to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan.”
Team workouts will occur simultaneously on Memorial Day at the OCFA Drill Grounds and other
locations world-wide including fire departments, police departments, and CrossFit affiliate gyms. For more information, you can visit www.trevorwine.com or www.crossfitorangecounty.com.
