CA-LNU-Geysers Incident - Wildland Fire - Geyserville area
Final Update: 05-16-08 16:00hrs - 100% contained, 288 acres, heavymopup complete, All hoselays pulled
Start:04:30 a.m - Four miles up Geysers Road from Alexander Valley Road in about 40 to 50 acres of brush.
Staging: Geysers Road, Hawkeye Ranch
Resources: Full wildland response, 100+ men, six engines and four dozers from several Sonoma County fire agencies, Engine Strike team from SCU,
WUI: No current structures threat.
Weather: Very Hot Winds gusting to 40mph.
Geysers: Hot
