CA-TCU-Cold Springs 30 acres - Contained

Vegetation Fire
Initial call: Vegetation Fire Highway 108 at Cold Springs in the area of Inyo Drive above the 5000' level...
Evacuations: The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office is still asking all residents in the Cold Springs Subdivision to evacuate
Sizeup: Escaped control burn in Cold Springs, now estimated at 20-30 acres.
Rapid ROS, crowning in heavy timber with high winds.
Resources: 15 engines at scene, 2 copters,
Additional engines being requested code 3.

Update: - Fire contained at 30 acres of heavy timber on the Stanislaus National Forest. Resources are going to be released tonight with a day shift for mop up planned for tomorrow.
