CA-BTU- Ishi IC - Wildland Fire - Approx. 7 acres

CONCOW — Fire crews are racing to a growing wildland fire in the foothills east of Concow Reservoir.

Initial Call:
07:21 - Vegetation Fire -Burn Pile - Map
Location:
Off end of Yani Trail, near Yani and Ishi trails, Fire approaching Concow Rd.
Sizeup: 5-7 acres, ground winds 3-5 mph, heavy logging slash, timber level wind gusting to 20+.moderate-to-rapid rate of spread, Possible structure hazard w/at least 3 residences threatened. "potential for significant growth."
Resources: 10 Cal Fire-Butte County engines, One Paradise Fire engine along with water tenders, Four hand crews and 2 bulldozers have been called to the fire site,two battalion chiefs, 1 training officer and a prevention officer on the scene.
Resource orders: 2 Dozers, 1 Tanker, 1 Copter, sheriff requested in case of evacuation
Staging: Station 38
Coms: Butte Fire 151.400 Tac 9
Cause: Out of control burn pile
Updates:
1200 - Contained
Tanker canceled, Copter Canceled.
0839 - Burning toward Concow Rd and the three threatened
residences.
