-Update: 21-acre fire - Fire left some hikers stranded in a parking lot near Chantry Flats, The hikers were to be escorted out of the forest by firefighters, she said.

Resources: Dozen type 1 engines, three water tankers and three helicopters.
IA: 13:40hrs - Vegetation fire was reported just after 1:40 p.m. Saturday in timber area off Santa Anita Canyon Road. - Between City of Arcadia and the Angeles National Forest San Gabriel wilderness to the north -
Heavy fuel and rough terrain, moderate ROS
Location: Santa Anita Canyon Road north of Arcadia in the Angeles National Forest
Evacuations: Precautionary Evacuation of nearby Trask Boy Scout camp
No Interface threat, no injuries have been reported
Unified command: LAC and City of Arcadia Fire Department
