Palomar Mountain and Valley Center being evacuated

Reverse 9-1-1 calls are being used to issue evacuation orders to more than 900 Palomar Mountain and Valley Center residents. Residents are being advised to take shelter at the Palomar Observatory.

Also, Mission Hills High School is able to take an additional 200 evacuees at 1 Mission Hills Court, San Marcos, 92069. Calvin Christian High School is able to take an additional 100 evacuees at 1868 N. Broadway, Escondido, 92026.
