Harris Fire - Four CAL FIRE firefighters injured in burnover

Four CAL FIRE firefighters were injured this afternoon when their engine company was engulfed by flames from the Harris Fire at around 1400 hours.
UPDATE:
Four CAL FIRE  firefighters were injured when their engine was burned over by fire, Two were critically burned, two minor burns, all flown to UCSD Burn Unit, One civilian fatality, one civilian critically burned, one civilian minor burns.
This occurred just north of the California Mexico border


The CAL FIRE Firefighters were flown to the UCSD burn center in Hillcrest in unknown conditions according to CAL FIRE .
The incident may be related to a report by the California Highway Patrol that they had lost radio contact with one fire crew about an hour prior to that.
The Harris Fire that began early Sunday morning about 70 miles east of San Diego and has burned more than 2,500 acres and injured at least these four CAL FIRE firefighters, four civilians and has killed one civilian. There are unconfirmed reports of other civilian burn victims.
