A brush fire broke out this afternoon in Wildomar and burned about 20 acres before firefighters were able to contain it.
The non-injury blaze started for unknown reasons about 12:30 p.m. near the corner of Wesley Street and Grand Avenue, said Jody Hagemann of the Riverside County Fire Department.
At least one structure was briefly threatened, but no structural damage occurred, Hagemann said.
Ten county engine crews, numbering about 70 firefighters, fought the blaze, and air support was also used, according to the fire department.
