[EDIS] Red flag warning remains in effect from 1 pm this afternoon to 8 pm pdt this evening for gusty winds and low relative humidities:A RED FLAG WARNING
Modoc, Siskiyou

A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING IN FIRE WEATHER ZONES 281...284 AND 285 IN CALIFORNIA AND ZONE 624 IN OREGON. SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TODAY TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 5 MPH FROM MID AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING. THE AIR MASS WILL REMAIN VERY DRY WITH MINIMUM AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES BETWEEN 5 AND 15 PERCENT.

Instruction:
A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS... LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY... AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE EXPLOSIVE FIRE GROWTH POTENTIAL.

Area: CENTRAL SISKIYOU COUNTY INCLUDING SHASTA VALLEY-SISKIYOU COUNTY FROM THE CASCADE MOUNTAINS EAST AND SOUTH TO MTSHASTA-MODOC COUNTY EXCEPT FOR THE SURPRISE VALLEY-KLAMATH BASIN AND THE FREMONT-WINEMA NATIONAL FOREST-
