AFTERNOON WEST WINDS WILL ALSO BE ENHANCED BRINGING THE POSSIBILITY FOR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS. ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR EXTREME WESTERN NEVADA AND NORTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA FOR LOW HUMIDITIES AND GUSTY WEST WINDS... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A FIRE WEATHER WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING. WEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE ALONG THE SIERRA FRONT ON FRIDAY WITH GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH BECOMING WIDESPREAD ON SATURDAY. A MUCH DRIER AIRMASS WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION STARTING FRIDAY WITH AFTERNOON HUMIDITY VALUES OF 10 TO 15 PERCENT EXPECTED ON SATURDAY. THE POSSIBLE COMBINATION OF LOW HUMIDITY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS WOULD RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS SATURDAY.
