  1. My parents live in Jojoba Hills RV resort but are out of state at this time. They do have an RV stored there. Is there anymore information you can give me about that resort? Has anything been damaged there?

  2. Just talked to my parents and after an earlier evacuation and return, at 10/21/07 10:30 pm they were being told to leave again. My parents were pulling out the spare RV and going to the evacuation center at Pachanga (casino, high school, ?).

  3. Thanks for the info. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to get up there to get the RV out of storage so I will just have to pray that it's going to be ok. My parents have a lot of friends in there and are aware of what's happening. I hope everything is ok with your parents and please let me know if you hear anything else about this fire and I will do the same for you.

****REMINDER**** Every fire has the ability to be catastrophic. The wildland fire management environment has profoundly changed. Growing numbers of communities, across the nation, are experiencing longer fire seasons; more frequent, bigger, and more severe, fires are a real threat. Be careful with all campfires and equipment.

"I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts, and beer." --Abraham Lincoln
