CA-ORC-Santiago Canyon - Vegetation Fire

Initial Sizeup: 2 to 3 acres Rapid ROS wind driven upslope
Location: West of Highway241 and North of Portola Parkway Northwood

Updates: The Santiago Fire, which has burned 8,800 acres, is now 30% contained. The preliminary cause is arson. If you have any information related to the fire, please call the Arson Tip Line at (800) 540-8282.

15 to 20 acres, multiple resource request, major potential, immediate str threat
CHP CAD reporting fire has jumped to west side of HWY241 and is now headed towards the city of Irvine.
Fire moving SE. Location: West of Hwy241 and North of Portola Pkwy. Community of Northwood threatened in Irvine.
