Water Fire: CA-SHF Water Fire - Shasta County

Wildland lightning fire east of Mt Shasta. 

08/02/2015 0830: 30 acres, 20% contained. Difficult access due to lava fields. Threat to COTP power lines and natural gas lines remains.

08/02/2015 0830: 75 acres, 0% contained, burning in timber and brush. Erractive fire behavior driven by thunderstorm activity. Threat to COTP power lines and natural gas lines. 

Location: Fire is located 7 miles north of Pondosa. NW of Porcupine Butte near Water Caves.
GPS: lat and lon 41,26.460 x -121,36.552 . .
