Update: 1745hrs - CA-SCU Mustang - fire is 500+ acres and about 35% contained.
XMR2141C (Marin LG) returning from Santa Barbara apparently reassigned to this incident.

1445hrs - fire is 100+ acres, Firefighters were reportedly holding a critical ridge line. The fire possibly involves private lands and acreage within the park...
NEU sending ST 9231C Batt. 2310 Engines 2361, 2364, 2365, 2367, 2389 for SCU cover assignments, Crrently 3 air tankers, 3 heliopters, 5 strike teams of crews, 2 strike teams of engines and various single increment engines and 2 dozers assigned to the fire. Very remote access.

Update: 1431hrs - Current sizeup: 75-100 acres, slow rate of spread. Strike Team 9147c out of LNU assigned to the incident. Two water tenders arriving.

Update: 1416hrs - ST9241G out of MMU assigned to fire.
BEU just sent BC4611 Engines 4665,4666,4677,4683 and 4691 as ST 9460C to the fire, immediate need. Access off of Highway 152 -->County Line road, to form up at fire.
Staging will be Crows Landing.

Update:
1330hrs - 20-25 acres slow ROS, mixed brush. Potential for 500 to 600 acres.- Fire located approximately between Rooster Comb ridge, Mustang canyon area. Best I-5 travel route --> Orestimba access - Use Sullivan Road I-5 exit.

Update: 1320hrs - Crews responding from across valley confirm large header showing. Copter 106 confirms smoke showing 10 mins out, Fixed wing aircraft diverted from Jesusita fire in Santa Barbara.
