To Everyone on the lines Watch out! This is when things go bad!
You are all tired, some are exhausted(Relief is on the way they have even Arizona Hotshots reactivated just for you) and some have been stuck in staging for an eternity(Long way to go yet roll-up your gear and get ready). The Incident Commanders are Starting get a handle on things it seems(God Job!), The firelines are starting to come together(Tea Fire is just about ready for bed), No critical injuries(Thank God! To the four in the burnover "Get well quick") a handful of minor to moderate injuries.
Please do not get hurt now...

It seem to me that peoples, that live in the fire areas, should put a pvc pipe with a lots of hole in the pipe along the top of the houses and connect it to the water lines turn the water on ,and let it run on top of their homes to help prevent the from jumping from house to house. put a heat sensor in to turn the water on when needed.
ReplyDeleteThe have water spray systems somewhat like that on the market and many deployed in So Cal.
