WILLIAMS, Calif. -- A extensive structure fire is burning at Granzella's Inn and Restaurant
the structure has suffered major damage.
Williams Fire has requested mutual aid from Yuba City ( water tender) and a ladder
truck from OliveHurst.
The Colusa County establishment is located at 452 6th Street in Williams.

The massive fire Thursday has destroyed the Colusa County landmark restaurant Granzella's, but the owners vow that they will re-establish the business."We are coming back," owner Jim Granzella said Friday
- The sports bar was saved, along with 90 percent of the establishment's memorabilia and mounted animals, KCRA 3 reported.
- The fire started shortly after 3 p.m. in the kitchen area of the restaurant.
- @ 2300hrs Thursday - Firefighters were still pumping water for mop up
- Capt. Paul Franklin of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said the fire began around 4 p.m. in the restaurant, which he described as a total loss. at 6 p.m. firefighters were working to save its adjacent sports bar.
