A SNOW ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT FRIDAY. SNOW WILL CONTINUE AND BE HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY FRIDAY MORNING... WITH 1 TO 3 INCHES IN LOWER ELEVATIONS OF EASTERN LASSEN COUNTY...NORTHERN WASHOE COUNTY AND THE SURPRISE VALLEY. CHECK OUR WEBSITE AT WEATHER.GOV/RENO... OR LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO...FOR FURTHER UPDATES ON THIS SITUATION FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
