Summary
Firefighters continue suppression efforts on the Vista fire located in the remote area of the Sequoia National Forest. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Northern California Team #1 (Swartzlander) assumed command of the fire on August 24. Residual burn out of the heavy fuels continued throughout the night. Direct attack continues to be successful.
