Canyon Fire Incident Information:

County: Los Angeles County
Location: Agua Dulce, Agua Dulce Canyon and 14 Freeway
Acres Burned: 600 acres - Full containment expected July 8, 2007.
Containment 10% contained - 600 acres
Threatened: More than 300 residence and 150 other structures are threatened.
Evacuations: Voluntary evacuations continue.
Cause: Under Investigation
Cooperating Agencies: Los Angeles Sheriffs Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, Animal Control, Cal Edison, American Red Cross.
Total Fire Personnel: 514 (118 CAL FIRE)
Fire crews: 12 (6 CAL FIRE)
Engines: 64
Helicopters: 1
Water tenders: 3
Conditions: Continued concerns of Red Flag conditions. The fire is burning in steep terrain making for difficult access.
