WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING. A FIRE WEATHER WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL HOURS INTO TUESDAY EVENING.
WIND SPEEDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WILL BE COMMON WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH POSSIBLE. THESE WINDS AND HUMIDITY VALUES BETWEEN 8 AND 15 PERCENT WILL LIKELY RESULT IN CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE AGAIN AND BE STRONG WEDNESDAY AS THE MAIN LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES INTO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. WIDESPREAD SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE LIKELY WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY AGAIN NEAR OR BELOW 15 PERCENT.
