Update 6/24/2015 0800hrs: 1,542 acres, 93% contained. Last report until significant activity occurs.
Update 6/20/2015 0800hrs: 1,542 acres, 95% contained. A Type 3 organization assumed command of the fire last evening at 1800.
Update 6/19/2015 0800hrs: 1,542 acres, 95% contained. Interior islands continue to burn down. Reduction in acreage due to more accurate mapping.
Update 6/17/2015 1800hrs: 1,546 acres, 90% contained. Interior islands continue to be consumed by low intensity fire.
Update 6/17/2015 1800hrs: The #SaddleFire is 1546 acres and 85% contained. This will be the last full night shift, except for a few resources patrolling tonight

Update 6/11/2015 1800hrs: 1,000 acres, 0% contained. Active fire behavior with short crown runs. The fire continues to impact outlying areas of the City of Hyampom however no additional evacuations were done this operational period. NORCAL Team 2 will assume command of the fire at 0600 tomorrow morning.

Current Fire Situation: The Saddle Fire is currently being managed by a Type 3 Incident Management Team, transitioning to a Type 2 IMT Friday, June 12. The fire made uphill runs yesterday afternoon towards South Fork Ridge during the peak burning period, but held in place last night. Additional crews are in place this morning.
The main objectives for today include continuing structure defense on the northwest and west side of Hyampom and dividing the fire perimeter into divisions. Fire crews will also continue with fire line construction.
Area Closures:The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has implemented mandatory evacuations along County Road 311, also known as the Lower South Fork Road, north of Big Slide Campground to Manzanita Ranch. Residents of Hyampom are under an advisory evacuation.
Evacuations: The location of the Red Cross Evacuation Center in Hayfork has been moved from the Hayfork Fairgrounds to the Hayfork High School.
