A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW OR WILL SHORTLY.

A COMBINATION OF STRONG WINDS, LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND WARM TEMPERATURES WILL CREATE EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR. PLEASE ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OR FIRE CREWS IN THE FIELD OF THIS RED FLAG WARNING.


The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warnings that remains in effect through 18:00 hrs today due to gusty northeast winds and low relative humidity for the valleys of Ventura county as well as the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys.
