06/12/2013	1800	Update: Big Meadow (CO-RMP). 5 mi. North of Grand Lake, CO (40.19 22N, 105.47 15W). Approx: 600 acres- beetle kill timber. Upslope runs, spotting, area closures continuing.
06/12/2013	2000	Update: Black Forest (CO-EPX). 8 miles se of Monument, CO. (39.0 46N, 104.44 59W). Appx: 8,500 acres @ 0%. GB IMT 1 (Harvey) in-briefed at 1800.
06/12/2013	2100	Update: Royal Gorge (CO-RGD). 1mile west of Canon City, CO. (38. 27 14N, 105. 21 01W). Appx: 2,800 acres @ 20%. Fire is transitioning to RMA T2 IMT Dallas at 0600 6/13

Minimal IA reported this evening with considerable acreage growth on existing large fires. Hot, dry, and windy conditions continue across Colorado and into central Wyoming. Additionally, subtropical moisture moving northward will initiate isolated thunderstorm activity over the higher elevations of Colorado into central Wyoming Thursday afternoon and evening, and again Friday. This may increase IA, especially over Colorado where fuels are more receptive.

Significant Events: noneRemarks: SJF IHC called the West Fork fire into DRC on 6/11/13 on 6/12/13 2EE was asked to fly a recon to get a good size up and determine jump spots or LZ's for crew insertion if there is a change in tactics. Currently this fire is being managed for resource benefits due to location and inaccessibility. 2EE said that its burning in heavy dead and is approximately 1/4 acre. Observed Fire Behavior: Smoldering Planned Actions: Monitor from ground or aerial, as needed.

Colorado Army National Guard and Fort Carson, Colo., aviation assets provide firefighting assistance during the Black Forest fire in El Paso County, Colo., June 12, 2013. UH-60 Black Hawk and CH-47 Chinook helicopters are being used to fight the fire.
