Number of Units: Numerous apparatus from San Bernardino Fire Dept,
US Forest Service and CalFire responded
Number of Firefighters: 30 Firefighters
Additional information:
· Reports received through 911 of multiple small fires burning in the area of Hwy 18 at Old Waterman Canyon road near the entrance of Arrowhead Springs Resort.
· San Bernardino Fire units assisted by US Forest Service and Cal Fire personnel made their way through rugged terrain to contain what appeared to be five separate fires slowly burning in light grass and brush. Total acreage from all fires was estimated at 3 acres.
· Firefighters were able to contain all fires within a couple hours and eliminating any threat to structures.
· Cause of the fire remains suspicious while the investigation continues.
