Flash flood watch now in effect from 2 am pst Monday through Monday afternoonVENTURA COUNTY INTERIOR VALLEYS-VENTURA COUNTY COASTAL VALLEYS- SANTA CLARITA VALLEY-LOS ANGELES COUNTY SAN FERNANDO VALLEY- LOS ANGELES COUNTY SAN GABRIEL VALLEY- THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR * THE VALLEYS OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES. * FROM 2 AM PST MONDAY THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON * RAIN WILL FALL HEAVY AT TIMES LATE TONIGHT AND MONDAY.
RAIN MAY FALL AT RATES OVER ONE HALF INCH PER HOUR FOR SEVERAL HOURS IN A ROW DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE STORM. RAIN AT THESE RATES WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING. RAINFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE ONE AND A HALF INCHES TO THREE INCHES. *
THERE IS ALSO A THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS FOR THE RECENT BURN AREAS INCLUDING THE BARHAM... GRIFFITH PARK... RANCH... BUCKWEED...MAGIC...SESNON...SAYRE...MAREK... SANTA ANITA BURN AREAS...INCLUDING THE CATALINA ISLAND BURN AREA
