6/22 0845 TCU Lightning (CA-TCU-5694), 14 lightning fires are being managed as a Complex. 5 of the lightning fires are contained and in the mopup stages.

6/22 0845 Arnold (CA-TCU-5690), of the 9 lightning fires 6 are contained and in the mopup stages. the other 3 fires have burned about 15 acres. There is a very high potential for fire spread. These fires are two burning periods away from a large subdivision of homes. They are expecting more IA fires today.

6/22 0830 Basin Complex (CA-LPF-1649), consists of the Logwood (CA-LPF-1650), Basin (CA-LPF-1638), and the Gallery (CA-LPF-1635). at the last report the three fires have burned about 2,000 acres.

6/22 0700 TCU Lightning (CA-TCU-5694); started yesterday afternoon about 1430 hours. the lightning fires started throughout the Tuolumne Calaveras Unit. Firefighting efforts are hampered by heavy fuels, limited resources, and hazards to firefighters. One major concern is a threat to Big Trees State Park.

6/22 0700 Clover (CA-SQF-0967) Burned 548 acres for a total of 3,898 acres. The fire is going from a FUMT fire to full suppression .

6/22 0645 Brown (CA-BEU-2390) , started 06/21/2008 at about 1510 hours, by this morning is had burned 3,000 acres and is 0% contained. The fire is burning in grass and range land north and east towards Fresno County Some of the major problems and concerns are low relative humidities, high temperatures, critical fuel moisture conditions, lack of resources. This fire has a very high rate of spread. At midnight there were no road closures, no evacuations.

6/22 0645 Indians (CA-LPF-1491), HAS BURNED 53,100 ACRES AND IS 59% CONTAINED . Major problems and concerns are ; are numerous structures and improvements located adjacent to the fire perimeter, steep terrain, limited access, heavy fuel loading, drought conditions. Significant progress toward containment was made last night.

6/22 0630 North Ops - had 602 new fires yesterday, many of these fires are still unstaffed and in very remote areas. North Ops has gone to a Preparedness Level 4.

6/22` 0630 Opliger's Type I Team - is being activated to the Lime Complex on the SHF.

6/22 0630 Woychak's Type II Team - has been activated to the Basin Complex (CA-LPF-1649).

6/21 1630 - North Mountain fire in Yosemite N. P. , Cunningham fire East of the City of Merced along Hwy 140.

6/21 1630 - Lightning continues moving east into Stanislaus, Merced , Mariposa and Tuolumne counties causing a number of starts. Moderate initial attack continuing.
