Firefighters, family, and friends are gathering Friday to say a final farewell to Brent Lovrien, a Los Angeles firefighter killed in an explosion near LAX.

Funeral Procession/Street Closures

Some motorists in the downtown area may have to alter their commutes Friday because of street closures.

Beginning at 6 a.m., Main Street will be closed between First and Aliso streets, Temple Street will be closed between Los Angeles Street and Grand Avenue, while northbound Grand Avenue will be closed between First and Temple streets.
Traffic will be allowed to cross Temple Street at the intersections of Hope, Los Angeles, Spring and Hill streets, and at Broadway Avenue and southbound Grand Avenue.

Beginning at 8 a.m., Hill Street will be closed between Ord and First streets.

All streets are expected to be opened by 1 p.m. Commuters can get real- time traffic information online at http://trafficinfo.lacity.org.
