CA-MVU-#HighwayFire Hwy 78 east of Ramona, Holding at 5 Acres, Cancelling Resources #CAFire

CA-MVU- Highway Fire

CAL FIRE wildland fire in the Witch Creek area east of Ramona. 5 acres, no structures threatened.

Update 1635: Cal Fire has released the air tankers, CHP has closed the 78 until further notice.

Update 1545: - Fire is holding at 5 acres. 2 Air drops across head held it, Cancelling Copter out of  Hemet-Ryan Air Attack Base and additional resources, request fire investigator. Hwy 78 is closed in both direction between Ramona and Santa Ysabel. 

Location: - Hwy 78 east of Ramona
IA Description: - 2-3 acres, MROS no current structure threats.
IA Resources: - B3311 is IC. 2 tankers actively dropping on the fire.
ROS: - Medium
Structure Threats: - No
Additional Resource Notes: - CNF firefighters assisting CAL FIRE with wildland fire in the Witch Creek area east of Ramona. 5 acres, no structures threatened.
