NWS - Very Strong North Winds. Sacramento Valley, Mountains Shasta County to Northern Lake County #CaFire

The National Weather Service - Sacramento has issued a Wind Advisory for the Northern, Central and Southern Sacramento Valley, the mountain areas from southwestern Shasta County to northern Lake County, including the cities of Redding, Chico, Sacramento, Alder Springs and Lakeport for very strong north winds. 
This advisory is in effect from 4 a.m to 10 p.m Thursday.
